The Lord's Compassions Never Fail (They Are New Every Morning)

"Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed,
for His compassions never fail.
They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.
I say to myself, 'The Lord is my portion; therefore
I will wait for Him.'

The Lord is good to those whose hope is in Him,
it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the Lord.
It is good for a man to bear the yoke while he is young.

Let him sit alone in silence, for the Lord has laid it on him.
Let him bury his face in the dust- there may yet be hope.
Let him offer his cheek to one who would strike him,
and let him be filled with disgrace.

For men are not cast off by the Lord forever.
Though He brings grief, He will show compassion, so great
is His unfailing love.
For He does not willingly bring affliction or grief to the
children of men."

Lamentations 3: 22-33

If you are in the midst of suffering or trials and it seems that there is no light at the end of the tunnel, do not lose hope or trust in God. Though He did not willingly bring your affliction, nevertheless, He allowed it for whatever purpose that is at His mind and it will be revealed in glory at some future time. Suffice it to say that all children of God undergo such trials and sufferings so that our characters may be refined and molded by the Master Molder for His own great purpose. Let us just trust in His unfailing love and hope to see the end of our affliction at the very end of the tunnel. There, the light will shine so brightly and will dispel all the anguish and darkness in our souls.

New Heavens And A New Earth

"Behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth.
The former things will not be remembered, nor
will they come to mind.
But be glad and rejoice forever in what I will create,
for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight and
its people a joy.
I will rejoice over Jerusalem and take delight in my
people; the sound of weeping and of crying will be
heard in it no more.
Never again will there be an infant that lives but a
few days, or an old man who does not live out his
years; he who dies at a hundred will be considered
a mere youth; he who fails to reach a hundred will
be considered accursed.
They will build houses and dwell in them; they will
plant vineyards and eat their fruit.
No longer will they build houses and others live in
them, or plant and others eat.
For as the days of a tree, so will be the days of my
people; My chosen ones will long enjoy the works
of their hands."

Isaiah 65: 17-22

There will be new heavens and a new earth during the golden millennial reign of the King of kings and the Lord of lords- Jesus Christ. Satan will be chained for a thousand years and the earth will experience a thousand years of prosperity, peace and joy that the world has never witnessed before. People will grow to a very old age and there will be no more infant deaths. There will be justice and peace throughout all the land as Jesus Christ sit magnificently on His throne. All the kings of the earth will pay obeisance to the King of kings and Lord of lords. No one will ever go hungry again for there will be an abundance of food throughout the land. There will be no enmity, quarrels and wars as people will learn to live in love and harmony with one another under the reign of the Prince of peace.

False Teachers And Their Destruction

"But there were also false prophets among the people,
just as there will be false teachers among you.
They will secretly introduce destructive heresies,
even denying the sovereign Lord who bought them-
bringing swift destruction on themselves.
Many will follow their shameful ways and will bring
the way of truth into disrepute.
In their greed, these teachers will exploit you with
stories they have made up.
Their condemnation has long been hanging over
them, and their destruction has not been sleeping."

2 Peter 2: 1-3

In the last days, there will be false teachers and false prophets. They will introduce deceptive teachings and prophecies that will deceive even the children of God who are not fully grounded in Biblical truths. Many have sprouted up like poisonous mushrooms that look appealing to the eyes but will kill those who will eat them. Many false stories and pseudo gospels have sprouted like the Da Vinci Code, The Gospel of Judas, the teachings of the New Age Group, the Apocryphal Books of dubious origin and authorship. Their teachings are spiritual sounding but they are just like sugar coated poisons- sweet and sugary on the outside, but poisonous and deadly on the inside. We must be fully grounded on sound Biblical truths and we should always pray to the Holy Spirit to give us wisdom and discernment to know the difference between bogus truths and Biblical truths.

We Are More Than Conquerors

"Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?
Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or
famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
As it is written: 'For your sake we face death
all day long; we are considered as sheep to be
slaughtered.'

No in all these things we are more than conquerors
through Him who loved us.
For I am convinced that neither death nor life,
neither angels nor demons, neither the present
nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor
depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able
to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ
Jesus our Lord."

Romans 8: 35-39

This is one of the most powerful and awesome promise of the Lord in the Bible. If we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior, and if we surrender our lives to Him, then no power in the whole universe could ever separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. We are therefore more than conquerors through Christ who loves us so much that He died on the cross for us. As He has conquered sin, disease and death and all the curses of Satan through His death on the cross and His triumphant resurrection, we can avail of the full power of the resurrection power of Jesus Christ to overcome the devil and all his wiles. Thus we shall be able to conquer all the obstacles and temptations thrown our way by the devil through that everlasting promise of our Lord that He will never leave us nor forsake us.

The Narrow And Wide Gates

"Enter through the narrow gate.
For wide is the gate and broad
is the road that leads to destruction,
and many enter through it.

But small is the gate and narrow
the road that leads to life, and
only a few find it."

Matthew 7: 13-14

Wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction and many enter it. And small is the gate and narrow is the road that leads to the kingdom of God and only a few find it. People are blinded by the pleasures of the world and blindly tread the path to destruction in pursuit of happiness and recognition. Like brilliant baubles, these tempting allures of Satan have mesmerized men to follow the enchanting tune of the pied piper from hell. Surely, if we follow the dictates of those who are worldly, we will be missing the true path to the kingdom of God. How narrow and uneventful that path is. It is also littered with so many pebbles and stones that hinder those who would tread that path. Trials and temptations are on every step of the way. But for those who will persist in trudging that path and finishing the trail to the very end, a crown of glory awaits them from the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Theirs will be eternal bliss with the Lord forevermore.

The Name Above All Names

"Your attitude should be the same as that of Jesus Christ:
'Who, being in very nature God,' did not consider equality
with God something to be grasped, but made Himself
nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made
in human likeness.

And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled
Himself and became obedient to death- even death on
a cross!

Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave
Him the name that is above very name, that at the name
of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth
and under the earth and every tongue confess that Jesus
Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

Philippians 2:5-11

Someday, at the end of the ages, this prophecy will be fulfilled. Jesus Christ will be revealed to the world in all His heavenly glory. He left the earth broken and in shame. He will return to earth in full majestic glory unparalleled in the annals of this world. And at that time, all knees in heaven, on earth and under the earth shall bow down before the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Even Satan and his minions and all who followed his evil ways will be made to bow down before the King by the mighty swords of the avenging angels. But to those who have remained faithful and true up to the very end, the blissful reunion with the King will be ushered in and there shall be widespread rejoicing among the true followers of Jesus Christ.

Wisdom From The Spirit

"The Spirit searches all things, even the things of God.
For who among men knows the thoughts of a man
except the man's spirit within him?
In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God
                                         except the Spirit of God.
We have not received the spirit of the world but the
Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what
                                         God has freely given us.

This is what we speak, not in words taught us by
human wisdom, but in words taught by the Spirit,
expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words.
The man without the Spirit  does not accept the
things that come from the Spirit of God, for they
are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand
them, because they are spiritually discerned."

                                                          1 Corinthians 2: 10b- 14

Those who do not have the Spirit of God in them cannot understand the words of God for they are spiritually discerned.  They are all foolishness to him.  Not so with those who have the Spirit of God dwelling in them.  They will understand the word of God for the Spirit who has inspired them is the same Spirit that dwells in the temples of their hearts.  This wisdom comes from the Spirit of God and was given to us to guide us in our spiritual walk in life.  They are the words that come from the mouth of God and were given to us to sustain us spiritually.

Lord, Who May Dwell In Your Sanctuary?

"Lord, who may dwell in your sanctuary?
Who may live on your holy hill?

He whose walk is blameless
and who does what is righteous,
who speaks the truth from his heart
and has no slander on his tongue,
who does his neighbor no wrong
and casts no slur on his fellow man,
who despises a vile man
but honor those who fear the Lord
who keeps his oaths even when it hurts,
who lends his money without usury
and does not accept bribe against the innocent.

He who does these things
will never be shaken."

Psalm 15: 1-5

We are ambassadors of Christ in this world. We are supposed to be the light of the world and the salt of the earth. We must never do what the world does and compromise our Christian legacy. In everything that we do, Christ' glory should be reflected in our lives so that we may attract souls towards the things we believe in and so bring them on the road to salvation. In this regard, the Holy Spirit shall help us in the transformation of our lives and in the renewing of our minds so that all thoughts
may become captive to the thoughts of Jesus Christ.

How Awesome Is The Lord Most High

"Clap your hands, all you nations
shout to God with cries of joy.
How awesome is the Lord Most High,
the great king over all the earth!
He subdued nations under us,
peoples under our feet.
He chose our inheritance for us,
the pride of Jacob, whom He loved.

God has ascended amid shouts of joy,
the Lord amid the sounding of trumpets.
Sing praises to God, sing praises;
sing praises to our king, sing praises.

For God is the king of all the earth;
sing to Him a psalm of praise.
God reigns over the nations;
God is seated on His holy throne."

Psalm 47: 1-8

How awesome is the Lord God Most High. No power in all creation, in all the universe, can match His awesome power. He created the whole universe and all creation. He holds the destinies of nations and peoples at the palm of His hands. Yet the God who oversees all of the vast universe consisting of billions of stars and galaxies know each and everyone of us personally. He guides our destinies as surely as He guides the path of each star in this vast panorama of galaxies. How awesome is our Lord God Most High. Remember His greatness as we sing songs of praise and worship to Him.

Jesus Heals A Paralytic

"A few days later, when Jesus again entered
Capernaum, the people heard that He had
come home.
So many gathered that there was no room left,
not even outside the door, and He preached the
word to them.
Some men came, bringing to Him a paralytic,
carried by four of them.

Since they could not get him to Jesus because
of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof
above Jesus and after digging through it, lowered
the mat the paralytic man was lying on.
When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic,
'Son, your sins are forgiven."

Now some teachers of the law were sitting there,
thinking to themselves, 'Why does this fellow talk
like that? He's blaspheming! Who can forgive sins
but God alone?'

Immediately Jesus knew in His Spirit that this was
what they were thinking in their hearts, and He said
to them, 'Why are thinking these things? Which is
easier: to say to the paralytic, "your sins are forgiven,"
or to say, "Get up, take your mat and walk?" But that
you may know that the Son of Man has authority on
earth to forgive sins...' He said to the paralytic, 'I tell
you, get up, take your mat and go home.'
He got up, took his mat and walk out in full view of
them all.
This amazed everyone and they praised God saying,
'We have never seen anything like this."

Mark 2: 1-12

Sometimes God uses sickness and illness to bring to the attention of the diseased person his state of living in sin. Sometimes, the callousness of the sinful heart of man deadens the still small voice of his conscience and God uses sickness to remind him to repent and be healed both in body and spirit. Total cleansing of our body, mind and soul through honest repentance and going back to the loving arms of God opens the body for the the pouring of the healing Spirit of God. Thus the sinful and diseased person is restored back to health both physically and spiritually.

Live By The Spirit And Not By The Flesh

"So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not
gratify the desires of the sinful nature.
For the sinful nature desires what is contrary
to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to
the sinful nature.
They are in conflict with each other, so that
you do not do what you want.
But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not
under law.

The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual
immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry
and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of
rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and
envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like.
I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like
this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience,
kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and
self control.
Against such things there is no law.
Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the
sinful nature with its passions and desires.
Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the
Spirit."

Galatians 5: 16- 25

There are two natures ever in conflict inside us- the Spirit and the flesh. They war against each other. Where we focus our attention, that we will become. Since we are already children of God called to be holy like our heavenly Father, let us live by the Spirit and not by our sinful nature. Remember, our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit. Let us honor God with our bodies, doing away with all evil desires and exhibiting the fruit of the Holy Spirit so that those who will see us will glorify our Father in heaven.

The Lord Protects Us From Danger And Untimely Death

"I love the Lord, for He heard my voice,
He heard my cry for mercy.
Because He turned His ear to me,
I will call on Him as long as I live.

The cords of death entangled me,
the anguish of the grave came upon me;
I was overcome by trouble and sorrow.
Then I called on the name of the Lord:
'O Lord, save me!'

The Lord is gracious and righteous;
our God is full of compassion.
The Lord protects the simplehearted;
when I was in great need, He saved me.

Be at rest once more, O my soul,
for the Lord has been good to you."

Psalm 116: 1-7

Those who fear the Lord and are obedient to His will need not fear any danger or untimely death. The angel of the Lord encamps at the tent of those who love Him. Even if thousands fall at the wayside and ten thousand surround those who fear the Lord, they shall be unharmed for their protection is the Lord. The Bible says that no weapon made by man shall harm those who fear the Lord and walk in His ways.

Living Sacrifices

"Therefore I urge you, brothers, in view of God's
mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices,
holy and pleasing to God- this is your spiritual
act of worship.

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this
world, but be transformed by the renewing of
your mind. Then you will be able to test and
approve what God's will is- His good, pleasing
and perfect will.

For by the grace given me I say to every one
of you: Do not think of yourself more highly
than you ought, but rather think of yourself
with sober judgment, in accordance with the
measure of faith God has given you."

Romans 12: 1-3

Our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. We must keep it clean, holy and without the stain of sin. To be more Christlike, we must renew our minds and check every thought that comes to us with the standard of Jesus Christ. Then, the Holy Spirit will begin the process of transforming us from glory to glory until we reach the whole measure of the fullness of Jesus Christ. Then God will be glorified in every thing that we do, say and think and we will shine like the stars in the firmament of heaven.

Blessed Is The Man Who Walks in The Ways of The Lord

"Blessed is the man who does not walk
in the counsel of the wicked or stand
in the way of the sinners or sit in the
seat of mockers.
But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
and on His law he meditates day and night.

He is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season and whose
leaf does not wither. Whatever he does
prospers.

Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that
the wind blows away.
Therefore the wicked will not stand in
judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of
the righteous.

For the Lord watches over the way of the
righteous, but the way of the wicked will
perish."

Psalm 1: 1-6

Blessed is the man who meditates on the laws of the Lord and does His will in his life. The Lord will watch over him and he will be blessed with all good things in life. He will be like a tree planted in the stream who will yield its fruit in season. But the wicked will perish with the evil that he does in his life.

Share Your Wealth With Your Less Fortunate Brethren

"Command those who are rich in this present world
not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth,
which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God,
who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.

Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds,
and to be generous and willing to share.
In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves
as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they
may take hold of the life that is truly life."

1 Timothy 6: 17- 19

Let us make ourselves channels of God's blessings to our less fortunate brethren, not withholding the help that we can extend to them. Our treasures are not of this world but in the kingdom of God where our reward for our good deeds await us. Freely give as we have freely received from the Lord.

Life Through The Spirit

"Therefore, there is now no condemnation
for those who are in Christ Jesus, because
through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit
of life set me free from the law of sin and
death.

For what the law was powerless to do in that
it was weakened by the sinful nature, God
did by sending His own Son in the likeness
of sinful man to be a sin offering.

And so He condemned sin in sinful man,
in order that the righteous requirements
of the law might be fully met in us, who do
not live according to the sinful nature but
according to the Spirit."

Romans 8: 1-4

We have been redeemed by Jesus Christ from our sinful nature and from our slavery to sin by dying on the cross at Calvary. So we must live in the Spirit, in the fear of the Lord and by walking in His ways. We must live a holy and blameless life worthy of the price Jesus paid for our very souls.

Protection From The Lord

"If you make the Most High your dwelling-
even the Lord, who is my refuge- then no
harm will befall you, no disaster will come
near your tent.

For He will command His angels concerning
you to guard you in all your ways; they will
lift you up in their hands, so that you will not
strike your foot against a stone.
You will tread upon the lion and cobra;
you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

'Because he loves Me,' says the Lord, 'I will
rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges
My name. He will call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and
honor him.
With long life will I satisfy him and show him my
salvation."

Psalm 91: 9-16

The Lord is our sure protection from all dangers and evil. The Lord will send His ministering angels to give us protection and guidance. Those who trust in the Lord will never be put to shame.

The Lord Is Faithful To Those Who Fear Him

"Taste and see that the Lord is good;
blessed is the man who takes refuge
in Him.
Fear the Lord, you His saints, for those
who fear Him lack nothing.
The lions may grow weak and hungry,
but those who seek the Lord lack
no good thing.

Come, my children, listen to Me,
I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
Whoever of you loves life and desires
to see many good days, keep your tongue
from evil and your lips from speaking lies.
Turn from evil and do good, seek peace
and pursue it.

The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous
and His ears are attentive to their cry;
the face of the Lord is against those who
do evil, to cut off the memory of them
from the earth.
The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them;
He delivers them from all their troubles.
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and
saves those who are crushed in spirit."

Psalm 34: 8- 18

Those who fear the Lord and walk in His ways need not fear from any adversities. The Lord will protect them from all harm and will supply all their needs. The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him and He delivers them.

Godlessness In The Last Days

This is an example of man's cavalier attitude in these last days.

"But mark this: There will be terrible times
in the last days.
People will be lovers of themselves, lovers
of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient
to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without
love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self control,
brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash,
conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of
God- having a form of godliness but denying its power.
Have nothing to do with them."

2 Timothy 3: 1-5

We are now entering the period of the last days. We are experiencing right now the PreTribulation period. Let us be wary of the proliferation of false teachings and doctrines, especially those that deny the divinity of Jesus Christ. Those who stand fast in their faith and remain faithful till the end shall receive their coveted crown of righteousness from the Lord when He returns to judge this world.

I Love You Lord

Righteousness Through Faith in Jesus Christ

"But now a righteousness from God, apart
from the law, has been made known, to
which the Law and the Prophets testify.

This righteousness from God comes
through faith in Jesus Christ to all
who believe. There is no difference,
for all have sinned and fall short of the
glory of God, and are justified freely by
His grace through the redemption
that came by Jesus Christ.

God presented Him as a sacrifice of
atonement, through faith in His blood.
He did this to demonstrate His justice,
because in His forbearance He had left
the sins committed beforehand unpunished-
He did it to demonstrate His justice at the
present time, so as to be just and the one
who justifies the man who has faith in Jesus."

Romans 3: 21- 26

We can never save ourselves alone through good works for the wages of sin is death. We can only be saved and made righteous by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ already paid in full the penalties for all our sins. We only have to surrender ourselves to Him and accept His offer of eternal life by accepting Him as our Lord and savior and letting His most precious blood wash away all our iniquities and sins.

Wisdom Is Supreme

"The path of the righteous is like the
first gleam of dawn, shining ever brighter
till the full light of day. But the way of
the wicked is like deep darkness; they
do not know what makes them stumble.

My son, pay attention to what I say;
listen closely to my words.
Do not let them out of your sight,
keep them within your heart;
for they are life to those who find them
and health to a man's whole body.

Above all else, guard your heart,
for it is the wellspring of life.
Put away perversity from your mouth;
keep corrupt talk far from your lips.

Let your eyes look straight ahead,
fix your gaze directly before you.
Make level paths for your feet and
take only ways that are firm.
Do not swerve to the right or
to the left, keep your foot from evil."

Proverbs 4: 18- 27

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. This reverential fear shall keep us from doing evil in the sight of the Lord. It will make us walk according to the will of God, to please Him in all that we do and to give glory to His name in everything.

Jesus and the Little Children

"People were bringing little children
to Jesus to have Him touch them,
but the disciples rebuked them.

When Jesus saw this, He was indignant.
He said to them, 'Let the little children
come to Me, and do not hinder them,
for the kingdom of God belongs to such
as these.

I tell you the truth, anyone who will not
receive the kingdom of God like a little
child will never enter it.
And He took the children in His arms,
put His hands on them and blessed them."

Mark 10: 13- 16

We must be like little children in innocence and harmlessness if we desire to enter the kingdom of God. We must trust our heavenly Father to provide all our needs just as these little children trust their own parents to provide for all their needs.

Blessed Be Your Name

Suffering For Being A Christian

"Dear friends, do not be surprised at the
painful trial you are suffering, as though
something strange were happening to you.
But rejoice that you participate in the
sufferings of Christ, so that you may be
overjoyed when His glory is revealed.

If you are insulted because of the name
of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit
of glory and of God rest on you.
If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer
or thief or any other kind of criminal or
as a meddler.

However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not
be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that
name.
For it is time for judgment to begin with the
family of God; and if it begins with us, what will
the outcome be for those who do not obey the
Gospel of God?"
1 Peter 4: 12- 17

If we are suffering body pains, heartaches and sorrows due to painful trials, rejoice that we are sharing in the suffering of Christ. When His glory is finally revealed, we will share in that same glory for then, our mortal bodies shall be transformed to become like the glorified body of Christ. There shall no longer be any pain, and the Lord shall wipe away all tears from our eyes as we share in His glorious presence forevermore.

Seek The Lord While He May Be Found

"Seek the Lord while He may be found;
Call on Him while He is near.
Let the wicked forsake his way
and the evil man his thoughts.
Let him turn to the Lord, and He
will have mercy on him, and to our
God, for He will freely pardon.

For My thoughts are not your thoughts
neither are your ways My ways,
declares the Lord.
As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are My ways higher than your ways
and My thoughts than your thoughts."
Isaiah 55: 6-9

Seek the Lord while He may still be found and freely accept the forgiveness for your sins. There will come a time when heaven's gate will be seemingly closed to sinners and the message of salvation will no longer be heard nor felt amidst the great tribulation that will befall the earth.

The Shepherd and His Flock

"I am the good Shepherd; I know my sheep
and my sheep know Me- just as the Father
knows Me and I know the Father-
And I lay down My life for the sheep.

I have other sheep that are not of this
sheep pen. I must bring them also.
They too will listen to My voice,
and there shall be one flock and one
shepherd.

The reason why my Father loves Me
is that I lay down my life- only to take
it up again. No one takes it from Me,
but I lay it down of my own accord.

I have authority to lay it down and
authority to take it up again.
This command I received from My Father."
John 10: 14-18

There are other sheep that are not of the sheep pen of the Lord. Let us pray and cooperate with the Good Shepherd to bring them into the sheep pen of the Lord. They too will listen to His voice and as the Lord has ordained, eventually, there shall be but one flock and one Shepherd.

Our Heavenly Dwelling

"Now we know that if the earthly tent
we live in is destroyed, we have a
building from God, an eternal house in
heaven, not built by human hands.

Meanwhile we groan, longing to be
clothed with our heavenly dwelling,
because when we are clothed, we
will not be found naked.

For while we are in this tent, we
groan and are burdened, because
we do not wish to be unclothed
but to be clothed with our heavenly
dwelling, so that what is mortal may
be swallowed up by life.

Now it is God who has made us
for this very purpose and has
given us the Spirit as a deposit,
guaranteeing what is to come."

2 Corinthians 5: 1-5

While we are with our physical bodies, we groan from all the trials and burdens in life. We struggle to keep in step with our sole purpose in life- to please God and give glory to His name. So that when our earthly lives are over, we will be clad in our glorious heavenly bodies to be with the Lord forevermore in His heavenly abode.

The Lord Reigns, Let The Earth Rejoice!

"Say among the nations, 'The Lord reigns.'
The world is firmly established, it cannot
be moved.
He will judge the peoples with equity.

Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad;
let the sea resound, and all that is in it;
let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them.

Then all the trees of the forest will sing for joy,
they will sing before the Lord, for He comes,
He comes to judge the earth.
He will judge the world in righteousness
And the peoples in His truth."

Psalm 96: 10- 13

The Lord reigns over all the world, let the earth rejoice and the children of God be glad. He will come to bring judgment to the world and rescue the elect. There will be complete joy and singing for those who are in the Lord. Praise and glory be to His name.

Living As Children Of Light

"Let no one deceives you with empty words,
for because of such things God's wrath
comes on those who are disobedient.
Therefore do not be partners with them.

For you were once darkness, but now you
are light in the Lord.
Live as children of light (for the fruit of the
light consists in all goodness, righteousness
and truth) and find out what pleases the Lord.

Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds
of darkness, but rather expose them.
For it is shameful even to mention what
the disobedient do in secret.
But everything exposed by the light becomes
visible, for it is light that makes everything visible.

Ephesians 5:6-14

Let us live as children of light and not as children of darkness. Let us become the light of the world that will illuminate the lost and wandering souls to the path of light and righteousness in Christ Jesus until there is but one flock and one Shepherd.

Love Each Other As I Have Love You

"My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.
Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his
life for his friends.
You are my friends if you do what I command.
I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not
know his master's business.
Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I
have learned from my Father I have made known to you.

You did not choose Me but I chose you to go and bear
fruit- fruit that will last.
Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in My name.
This is my command: Love each other."
John 15: 12-17

The Lord commanded us to love one another as much as He loves us. That is the sign of the children of God in this depraved world; that they love one another as Christ loves them. Then the Father will give us whatever we ask Him in the name of Jesus.

Jesus, The Salvation and Light of the World

"For God so loved the world that He gave
His one and only Son, that whoever
believes in Him shall not perish but
have eternal life.

For God did not send His son into the
world to condemn the world, but to
save the world through Him.

Whoever believes in Him is not
condemned, but whoever does not
believe stands condemned already
because he has not believed in the
name of God's one and only Son.

This is the verdict: Light has come
into the world, but men loved
darkness instead of light because
their deeds were evil.

Everyone who does evil hates the
light, and will not come into the
light for fear that his deeds will
be exposed.

But whoever lives by the truth
comes into the light, so that it
may be seen plainly that what he has
done has been done through God."

John 3: 16- 21
