The Shepherd and His Flock
"I am the good Shepherd; I know my sheep
and my sheep know Me- just as the Father
knows Me and I know the Father-
And I lay down My life for the sheep.
I have other sheep that are not of this
sheep pen. I must bring them also.
They too will listen to My voice,
and there shall be one flock and one
shepherd.
The reason why my Father loves Me
is that I lay down my life- only to take
it up again. No one takes it from Me,
but I lay it down of my own accord.
I have authority to lay it down and
authority to take it up again.
This command I received from My Father."
John 10: 14-18
There are other sheep that are not of the sheep pen of the Lord. Let us pray and cooperate with the Good Shepherd to bring them into the sheep pen of the Lord. They too will listen to His voice and as the Lord has ordained, eventually, there shall be but one flock and one Shepherd.

Hi Amrita,
Yes, that song is very meaningful and gives us eternal hope that we can always trade all our sorrows for the joy of the Lord. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you and your family always. I hope you have already recovered from your grief.
Thanks Mel
u r a good Christian
u r a good sport
unlike the Catholic Church that does not entertain criticism
they ban books to
they banned OSHOs books
and my blog will soon be banned
they may even burn me at the stake
Hi Jim,
Sad to say, the Catholic church will be judged by Jesus Christ when He returns for adopting extra Biblical practices like celibacy, worship of Virgin Mary and the saints, the doctrine of Purgatory and Limbo, and preaching individual acts of righteousness instead of dwelling on the righteousness of Jesus Christ. They call their priests father in complete violation of Jesus prohibition of calling anybody father (except our biological fathers, of course) because we have only one Father in heaven. Life is like that Jim. You have to ride with the flow but you have to know where to make a stand as far as principles are concerned.
I commiserate with you Jim. God bless.
This is a fantastic song and insightful words thanks so much for sharing it with us.
Blessings,
Tammy
