Salvation - Part Three
Acts 4:12 says, "Salvation is found in no one else for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."
Again there is an exclusivity in this statement. It categorically states that salvation can never be found in anyone else except through Jesus Christ. Why?
Because there is no other name (aside from Jesus Christ) in the whole world
(under heaven) by which all men can be saved.
This truth correlates with the truth that Jesus Christ is the only way. Since
He is the only way to salvation, it just rationally follows that His name is the only name by which man can be saved. The Bible says, "those who call on the name of the Lord will be saved."
Philippians 2:9-11 says, "Therefore God exalted him to the highest place, and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus, every knee should bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue
confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father."
And the name of the Lord is Jesus Christ.

I dont agree
Mahatma Gandhi died saying HE RAM
has he been condemned to hell Mel ?
Hi Jim,
I am a great believer of Mahatma Gandhi. Who am I to say where he is now? I can never be a judge of my fellow men. I leave it to God. I am stating in this blog the doctrinal principles of my faith which I firmly believe. I will never go into debates or arguments about religious beliefs and dogmas. There will always be conflicts with other people of different faiths. For example, I will never go to a Muslim blog and debate the writer on the merits of his religious doctrines nor would I go to a Hindu religious blog and engage the writer on the intricacies of his religious beliefs. For sure there will be a quarrel. I can defend each and every statement that I will make in my articles in this blog using the Bible, but that would not be acceptable to a person of different religious persuasion.
In the end there will just be animosities. Thank you for your visit here and for your interesting question. Smile. Have a nice and pleasant day.
