Practice Not Idolatry

Practice Not Idolatry

"
And God spoke all these words:
I am the Lord your God, who brought
you out of Egypt, out of the land of
slavery.

You shall have no other gods before Me.

You shall not make for yourself an idol in
the form of anything in heaven above or
on the earth below.
You shall not bow down to them or worship
them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous
God, punishing the children for the sin
of the fathers to the third and fourth generation
of those who hate Me, but showing love to
thousands who love me and keep my commandments.

You shall not misuse the name of the Lord
your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone
guiltless who misuses His name."

Exodus 20: 1-7

Is it any wonder why there are so much suffering and pains in the world? Innocent and young children suffer generational curses because of the abominable sins of their parents and grandparents. Bowing and kneeling down and praying to idols are all forms of worship. If we do this to anybody except to the one and only true God of the universe and the whole creation, we reap for ourselves and for our children and grandchildren up to the fourth generation, extreme curses and condemnation from heaven. "God is Spirit and His worshippers must worship in Spirit and in truth." (John 4:24)

Hi Sarah,
Yes, putting anything between God and us is considered idolatry. God must not have any competition in the pedestal we make. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.

Idolatry in the bible means not worshipping those Pagan statues like what happened during Moses saved Israel people who are God's people. Nice thought Sir Mel. Hope you got my message in Entrecard.

Hi Mel Cole,
Exodus 20:2 never made any exemption. That is the reason why we must know the word of God so that we may not be misled. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.
