Made Alive In Christ
"As for you, you were dead in your
transgressions and sins, in which
you used to live when you followed
the ways of this world and the ruler
of the kingdom of the air, the spirit
who is now at work in those who
are disobedient.
All of us also lived among them at
one time, gratifying the cravings of
our sinful nature and following its
desires and thoughts.
Like the rest, we were by nature
objects of wrath.
But because of His great love for us,
God who is rich in mercy, made us
alive with Christ even when we were
dead in transgressions- it is by grace
you have been saved.
And God raised us up with Christ
and seated us with Him in the
heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,
in order that in the coming ages
He might show the incomparable
riches of His grace, expressed in His
kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
For it is by grace you have been saved,
through faith- and this not from yourselves,
it is the gift of God- not by works,
so that no one can boast.
For we are God's workmanship, created
in Christ Jesus to do good works,
which God prepared in advance for us
to do."
Ephesians 2: 1-10
Salvation is never by good works alone. It is by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ. God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms. Isn't that wonderful! We are where Christ is seated at the right hand of the Father. Is there anything more wonderful than this revelation? And so we shine with the righteousness, the holiness and glory of Christ within us. For we are already dead to transgressions and alive in Jesus Christ alone.

Wonderfully Made
"For you created my inmost being;
You knit me together in my mother's
womb.
I praise You because I am fearfully
and wonderfully made;
Your works are wonderful, I know
that full well.
My frame was not hidden from You
When I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the
depths of the earth,
Your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me were
written in your book, before one of
them came to be."
"Search me, O God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting."
Psalm 139: 13-16 and 23-24
We are wonderful creatures because God formed us in His secret chamber. God ordained all the days of our lives because we are special to Him. Let us become the wonderful creations that He purposed us to be.

Do Not Love The World
"Do not love the world or anything in the world.
If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father
is not in him.
For everything in the world- the cravings of sinful
man, the lust of his eyes and the boasting of what
he has and does- comes not from the Father but
from the world.
The world and desires pass away, but the man who
does the will of God lives forever."
1John 2: 15-17
We can live in this world but not of this world. We are pilgrims here in a strange land of sin and wickedness and our true home is with our Father in heaven which our Lord Jesus Christ has prepared for us in advance.

Dead To Sin, Alive In Christ
"In the same way, count yourselves
dead to sin but alive to God in Christ
Jesus.
Therefore do not let sin reign in your
mortal body so that you obey its evil
desires.
Do not offer the parts of your body to
sin, as instruments of wickedness,
but rather offer yourselves to God, as
those who have been brought from
death to life; and offer the parts of your
body to Him as instruments of
righteousness.
For sin shall not be your master,
because you are not under law, but
under grace."
Romans 6: 11-14
We are now dead to sin and alive in Jesus Christ. Let us offer the parts of our bodies to Him as our living sacrifice- holy and pleasing to God. Let us all become holy because the one who called us is holy.
