The Eyes Of The Lord Are On Those Who Fear Him
"But the eyes of the Lord are on those
who fear Him,
On those whose hope is in His unfailing
love,
To deliver them from death and keep
them alive in famine.
We wait in hope for the Lord;
He is our help and our shield.
In Him our hearts rejoice,
for we trust in His Holy Name.
May your unfailing love rest
upon us, O Lord, even as we put
our hope in You."
Psalm 33: 18- 22
In these times of economic uncertainties, of depression and recession, where the high and the mighty have collapsed; when even the very rich and powerful nations of the world crumbled to their knees, the children of God are shielded from all these misfortunes. We only have to cling to God's faithful promises and He will give us His divine providence in due time. We will be sustained by the love, goodness and mercy of our Lord. We just have to trust Him that He will always provide for all our needs in their appointed time. God is faithful and true and is never remiss in His promises. So instead of resorting to panic, fear and anxiety for the unknown, let us trust in the unfailing love of God to deliver us from all the misfortunes that is the lot of worldly men.

Dear Mel, I especially like the way you ended your post,"So instead of resorting to panic, fear and anxiety for the unknown, let us trust in the unfailing love of God to deliver us from all the misfortunes that is the lot of worldly men." What an inspiring comment in light of the economic issues so many face. Debbie Seiling http://bible-passages.blogspot.com
