Cursed Is The One Who Trust In Man But Blessed Is He Who Trust In The Lord

"This is what the Lord says: 'Cursed is the one
who trusts in man, who depends in flesh for
his strength and whose heart turns away from
the Lord.
He will be like a bush in the wastelands; he
will not see prosperity when it comes.
He will dwell in the parched places of the
desert, in a salt land where no one lives.

But blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
whose confidence is in Him.
He will be like a tree planted by the water
that sends out its roots by the stream.
It does not fear when heat comes, its leaves
are always green.
It has no worries in a year of drought
and never fails to bear fruit."

Jeremiah 17: 5- 8

Cursed is he who trust in the strength of men. He is doomed to failure in whatever he does. He will start a task and will not see it finished. But the man who trusts in the Lord is blessed by God. The Lord will bless all that his hands will do. Prosperity, peace and joy shall never be far from the man whose trust is in the Lord. The Lord is his strength and shelter in times of troubles.

Hi teJan,
Yes, disregarding God for man is a most abominable sin against God because man is placed on a pedestal instead of God and that is pure idolatry. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.
