Love Each Other As I Have Love You

"My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.
Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his
life for his friends.
You are my friends if you do what I command.
I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not
know his master's business.
Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I
have learned from my Father I have made known to you.

You did not choose Me but I chose you to go and bear
fruit- fruit that will last.
Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in My name.
This is my command: Love each other."
John 15: 12-17

The Lord commanded us to love one another as much as He loves us. That is the sign of the children of God in this depraved world; that they love one another as Christ loves them. Then the Father will give us whatever we ask Him in the name of Jesus.

Hi Sam,
In the ultimate analysis, we are all Christians since Christian means follower of Christ. But we have different affiliations and there lie the division. Anyway, thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.

I love everyone and all of God's creations, though there are times when it becomes difficult to love some. God is love. Thanks be to God.

Hi May,
It is really hard to love the unlovable especially our enemy, but we can love them with the love of the Lord until the feeling of true love is felt in our hearts. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.

Hello Sir Mel. I really love this verse and it is one of the greatest commandments of God. It is easy to love the lovable ones but loving the unlovable is really easier said than done. But if I think how Jesus loved me in spite of my weaknesses and shortcomings, loving someone even if I feel animosity towards that person becomes easier. Thanks for this inspiring post. God bless you and your family. Have a great day!

Hi Sam,
Loving the unlovable is indeed very hard but if we love others including our enemies with the love of the Lord, it becomes a lot easier. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you all always.
