Admonitions To Christians For Righteous Living

"God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.
Humble yourselves, therefore, under God's mighty
hand, that He may lift you up in due time.
Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.
Be self controlled and alert.
Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion
looking for someone to devour.
Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know
that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing
the same kind of sufferings."

1Peter 5: 5b- 10

The world as it is, is so evil right now, and darkness has covered the earth. The triumphant laughter of the enemy is heard all over the world. Men have immersed themselves in deceptions. They reject all kinds of heavenly authority and any form of afterlife, reward and punishment. That is why Peter admonished us to be humble so that God can lift us up from the depths of our sufferings. The people of God are persecuted around the world. But we must stand fast and claim God's promises to strengthen and protect us against all the wiles of the enemy. We may be undergoing trials right now but all our Christian brothers and sisters in Christ around the world are also experiencing sufferings and trials of their own. God is strengthening all of us so that we can resist the final attempt of the enemy to triumph over us. But we will prevail and our King will vanquish the enemy and throw him and his minions to the lake of fire together with all those they deceived. But we will be fetched by the Lord so that we can receive the crown of glory from our mighty King in His blissful abode to live with Him forevermore.

============

salamat po kuya Mel...kau din po ng misis mo...sana mag reach din ng 50 years or more yung marriage nyo ni misis...:) for how many years na po pala kayong married?

nako, dpo pastor si hubby...ehhehe! I just thought na mas qualified sya among us to officiate the ceremony...sya kasi yung mas knowledgeable when it comes to Christianity and studying the bible.

honga pala, bat ang mayor pwede magkasal...d naman sya pastor....siguro kasi may legal rights ang mayor to officiate a wedding, right?

napansin ko lang sa mga pari...they will not officiate a wedding kung walang bayad...nakakahiyang isipin talaga.

Hi Dhemz,
Thanks for your visit and inspired comments. God bless you all always.

Just wishing you a happy valentine's day Kuya. Umuwi na ba si Mrs?

Hi Rose,
Thank you so much. Well, ganun talaga ang buhay, waaaaaaaah, hehehe, lol. Salamat sa dalaw at greetings. God bless you all always.

Belated Happy Valentine's day sa yo Mel at sa Mrs. mo, ngayon ko lang nabasa ang story mo about your married life, ano ba ang feeling pag wala sa tabi mo si Mrs.? parang malungkot ka ano? Kawawa naman, oo nga we need to sacrifice for our children. ilang years na kayong nagkahiwalay?

Hope you had a blessed heart's day kahit na sa skype with your beloved...

Hi Sarah,
Kinalimutan muna namin ang aming mga sarili for the sake of the kids. God bless you all always.
