"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord
Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the
heavenly realms, with every spiritual blessing
in Christ.
For He chose us in Him before the creation
of the world to be holy and blameless in His
sight.
In love He predestined us to be adopted as
His sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance
with the riches of God's grace that He lavished
on us with all wisdom and understanding.
And He made known to us the mystery of
His will according to His good pleasure, which
He purposed in Christ, to be put into effect
when the times will have reached their fulfillment-
to bring all things in heaven and on earth together
under one head, even Christ.
Ephesians 1: 3- 10
This is a sublime mystery of God's great love and plan for those He has chosen even before the creation of the world. God, in His all encompassing wisdom and knowledge, foreknew those who will accept Jesus Christ whom He has sent to save the world from eternal damnation. All graces and blessings in the heavenly realms were bestowed on those who will heed the call of Jesus Christ for salvation. We have been forgiven and redeemed by the most precious blood of Jesus Christ and we await the fulfillment of God's grand plan: TO BRING ALL THINGS IN HEAVEN AND ON EARTH TOGETHER UNDER ONE HEAD- JESUS CHRIST.

Well, I don't know about it but there must be a better term of endearment for those who follow Christ. Freak has a very negative connotation and it may demean the name of the Lord. Remember the 3rd commandment? It's just an honest opinion. You can do as you please as long as your conscience does not bother you. Thanks again for your visit and explanation. God bless you always.
Jesus Freak is a term coined by Carman, the Christian singer. It's one of his songs. After that, it was a term used by Christians all across the United States for standing up for their Christian beliefs. If you find the term offensive, it may be the age/generation gap or the cultural differences. :)
I did a little research, the song Jesus Freak is by DC Talk, a Christian band. They're like Sonic Flood, Casting Crowns, etc.
I thought it was Carman, because Carman has a song with Jesus Freak in the lyrics, if I'm not mistaken. :)
