Love

"Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast,
it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self- seeking,
it is not easily angered, it keeps no
record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil,
but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts,
always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.

And now these three remains:
faith, hope and love.
But the greatest of these is love."

1Corinthians 13:4-8a, 13:13


Love is the very essence of the whole of creation. Out of pure, divine love, God created the universe. Out of His great love for mankind, He gave man the chance
to reestablish his fellowship with God through the sacrifice of His only only begotten Son- Jesus Christ. God is love. That is His very essence, His innate nature. His love and mercy never fails. They are new every morning. If we love God with all our heart, mind, soul, and strength, and if we love our fellowmen as we love ourselves, then we partake of that same divine essence that our God is made of. We partake of His divine nature.
