Love Each Other As I Have Love You

"My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.
Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his
life for his friends.
You are my friends if you do what I command.
I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not
know his master's business.
Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I
have learned from my Father I have made known to you.

You did not choose Me but I chose you to go and bear
fruit- fruit that will last.
Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in My name.
This is my command: Love each other."
John 15: 12-17

The Lord commanded us to love one another as much as He loves us. That is the sign of the children of God in this depraved world; that they love one another as Christ loves them. Then the Father will give us whatever we ask Him in the name of Jesus.

Mel,
What a wonderful post. A love like this is rare and true. How can people ignore what is being offered to them so freely. God bless you.

Thanks for the great post Mel, sometimes when the pots and pans bang against each other love flies out of the window. But this is what we are commanded to do.

That song is beautiful

Hi Amrita,
We can avoid that by constantly focusing our minds and hearts to Jesus. Whatever we do, we do it to please Him and give glory to His name. Thanks for the visit and comments. God bless you and your loved ones always my friend.

Hi Pia,
Yes, we must all bear fruits because we cannot enter His presence empty handed. He will require an offering from His children. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you and your loved oens always.
