Christ's Humility And His Eventual Exaltation Above All Creation

"Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality
with God something to be grasped, but made Himself nothing,
taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human
likeness.

And being found in appearance as a man,
He humbled Himself and became obedient to death-
even death on the cross!

Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place
and gave Him the name that is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father."
(Philippians 2:5-11)

When the Lord returns to earth and at the judgment day, everybody- saved and unsaved and even Satan and his minions, will be required to kneel down and bow before the King of kings and the Lord of lords- Jesus Christ, the Alpha and the Omega. He left this world in shame and dishonor. He will return to this world in triumphant power, glory and honor together with the entire angelic host to judge the living and the dead. Only those whose names are written in the Book of Life will enjoy eternal bliss with Him in heaven. All those whose names are not written in the Book of Life shall be cast to the lake of fire to suffer eternal death and damnation with Satan and his minions.

WHEN THE LORD COMES, WILL HE FIND US FAITHFUL?

Above All

i love this song too. really nice and meaningful. it says it all. mel, thanks for standing with me in agreement. no, i still haven't seen the realization of my prayer but i know it's already done. i just need to focus on Him and not to be distracted by the things that's happening around me. your prayers help me to stay focused. God knows how much my heart desires this.

thank you, mel. God bless.

Hey Mel,

Thanks for always dropping by my spot. I love your comments. The last prayer you read on yesterday was actually not about me. In fact most of the prayers I write are about my friends, family, TV or the news. But, I enjoyed your comments anyway. :) I LOVE your blog.

Hi Pia,
Hope springs eternal. Remember, "But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagle, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint." (Isaiah 40:31) One thing I learned in Christian life is to trust the Lord wholeheartedly even if circumstances do not agree. Our God is a God who always test our faith to see how faithful we are to Him despite all the adverse circumstances in our lives. He does this to strengthen our character so that He can use us for His own purpose. And whenever we pass the test, He showers us with surprises not even our wildest dreams can imagine. You will overcome your present trials my sister in Christ. And He will give you much more than what you are asking from Him. Just remember that God always gives what we need and not what we want. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, my friend. You are always included in my prayers. God bless you and your loved ones with all the secret desires of your heart. Have a nice and peaceful day always.

Hi Chronic Chick,
Thanks for your visit and for your wonderful comments, but to God be the glory. I will be praying for you as I am praying for sis Emmyrose of Dancing With Butterflies who's also suffering from lupus. Focus more on the goodness of God and His amazing grace and not on our own circumstances, then we'll experience joy in our hearts and the realization that all our trials and sufferings will come to pass in His time. God bless and enjoy the holiday season with you friends and loved ones. Have a warm an cozy day in the US.
