Righteousness Through Faith In Jesus Christ
"But now a righteousness from God, apart
from the law, has been made known, to
which the Law and the Prophets testify.
This righteousness from God comes
through faith in Jesus Christ to all
who believe. There is no difference,
for all have sinned and fall short of the
glory of God, and are justified freely by
His grace through the redemption
that came by Jesus Christ.
God presented Him as a sacrifice of
atonement, through faith in His blood.
He did this to demonstrate His justice,
because in His forbearance He had left
the sins committed beforehand unpunished-
He did it to demonstrate His justice at the
present time, so as to be just and the one
who justifies the man who has faith in Jesus."
Romans 3: 21- 26
We can never save ourselves alone through good works for the wages of sin is death. We can only be saved and made righteous by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ already paid in full the penalties for all our sins. We only have to surrender ourselves to Him and accept His offer of eternal life by accepting Him as our Lord and savior and letting His most precious blood wash away all our iniquities and sins.

Wisdom Is Supreme
"The path of the righteous is like the
first gleam of dawn, shining ever brighter
till the full light of day. But the way of
the wicked is like deep darkness; they
do not know what makes them stumble.
My son, pay attention to what I say;
listen closely to my words.
Do not let them out of your sight,
keep them within your heart;
for they are life to those who find them
and health to a man's whole body.
Above all else, guard your heart,
for it is the wellspring of life.
Put away perversity from your mouth;
keep corrupt talk far from your lips.
Let your eyes look straight ahead,
fix your gaze directly before you.
Make level paths for your feet and
take only ways that are firm.
Do not swerve to the right or
to the left, keep your foot from evil."
Proverbs 4: 18- 27
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. This reverential fear shall keep us from doing evil in the sight of the Lord. It will make us walk according to the will of God, to please Him in all that we do and to give glory to His name in everything.

Jesus And The Little Children
"People were bringing little children
to Jesus to have Him touch them,
but the disciples rebuked them.
When Jesus saw this, He was indignant.
He said to them, 'Let the little children
come to Me, and do not hinder them,
for the kingdom of God belongs to such
as these.
I tell you the truth, anyone who will not
receive the kingdom of God like a little
child will never enter it.
And He took the children in His arms,
put His hands on them and blessed them."
Mark 10: 13- 16
We must be like little children in innocence and harmlessness if we desire to enter the kingdom of God. We must trust our heavenly Father to provide all our needs just as these little children trust their own parents to provide for all their needs.

Suffering For Being A Christian
"Dear friends, do not be surprised at the
painful trial you are suffering, as though
something strange were happening to you.
But rejoice that you participate in the
sufferings of Christ, so that you may be
overjoyed when His glory is revealed.
If you are insulted because of the name
of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit
of glory and of God rest on you.
If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer
or thief or any other kind of criminal or
as a meddler.
However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not
be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that
name.
For it is time for judgment to begin with the
family of God; and if it begins with us, what will
the outcome be for those who do not obey the
Gospel of God?"
1 Peter 4: 12- 17
If we are suffering body pains, heartaches and sorrows due to painful trials, rejoice that we are sharing in the suffering of Christ. When His glory is finally revealed, we will share in that same glory for then, our mortal bodies shall be transformed to become like the glorified body of Christ. There shall no longer be any pain, and the Lord shall wipe away all tears from our eyes as we share in His glorious presence forevermore.
