"And we pray this in order that you may live a life
worthy of the Lord and may please Him in every
way: bearing fruit in in every good work, growing
in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with
all power according to His glorious might so that
you may have great endurance and patience, and
joyfully giving thanks to the Father, who has
qualified you to share in the inheritance of the
saints in the kingdom of the light.
For He has rescued us from the dominion of
darkness and brought us into the kingdom of
the Son He loves, in whom we have redemption,
the forgiveness of sins."
Colossians 1: 10-14
This is the prayer of Paul to the Colossians which might as well be his prayer also for all Christians. He admonished Christians to become aware of their glorious light and their responsibility while living in the world. He admonished Christians to live a life worthy of the Lord, doing everything in order to please Him and give glory to His name and bearing fruits in all their actions. He reminded them that Christ rescued them from the dominion of darkness and brought them to the kingdom of light through Christ's atoning death on the cross. He also reminded them that they were being strengthened with all power from on high so that they can live a life of patience and endurance.

Great Post! I LOVE PAUL! Always so hopeful and celebrating life no matter how hard it gets. I also love his "whatsoever is good, lovely or of good report, seek after these things." (Avoid negativity in all its sources.)
You're always in my prayers,
Sheila
Hi Shiela,
Yes, Paul was the greatest propagator and advocate of the Gospel. He was responsible for the spread of Christianity to the gentile world. We owe our faith in Christ to Paul's unwavering and tireless efforts to spread the Gospel of salvation by Jesus Christ. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.
Paul truly repented for his sins and became one of Jesus'greatest disciple. Without his untiring efforts and sacrifices, the Gospel won't reach us Gentiles...Thanks writing an article about him. Thanks also for featuring STILL in your blog. It's oneof my favorites'coz it teaches us how to TRUST in God's power.More power to your blogs.God bless.
Hi Tineegirl03,
Yes, we owe our faith to Paul who became the apostles to the gentiles. Still is really a very powerful song that captures God's sovereign authority over all His creatures. Thanks for your visit and comments. God bless you always.
