Then Jesus declared, I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me will never go hungry, And he who believes in Me will never be thirsty.
All that the Father gives Me will come to Me And whoever comes to Me I will never drive away.
And this is the will of Him who sent Me, That I shall lose none of all that He has given Me, But raise them up at the last day.
For My Father's will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in Him shall have eternal life, And I will raise him up at the last day."
John 6: 35, 37, 39, 40
Jesus is the true bread of life. He who comes to Him will never be driven out. He will be sustained by the eternal love of God and will be raised to life at the last day. He will enjoy eternal life with God forevermore.
John 14:6 says, "Jesus answered, I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
Jesus did not say I am a way. He specifically said, I am the way. Why? Because He was the only begotten Son who was sent by the Father to effect the salvation of the whole mankind.
So the saying that all streams lead to the same sea is false. There is no other way to the Kingdom of God except through Jesus Christ.
And He is the truth, not just one truth. Theologically speaking, to the Father, He is the only truth that is acceptable to Him.
And He is the life. Apart from Him, no life could ever have taken place because the whole of creation was created through and by Him.
He is also the resurrection and the life. Through Him we can attain eternal life if we believe in Him.
He was the only one who has come back from the grave and is now seated at the right hand of the Father, thus giving us the opportunity to enjoy eternal life with Him.
Thus the eternal message of the Gospel is: Jesus Christ lived and died; He has risen; He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
